SDS Optic begins the operation of its new R&D center in the US

The R&D Center of SDS Optic Inc. will operate in the central part of Philadelphia, right next to the historic Liberty Bell Center and Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution were drafted and adopted. In recent months, SDS Optic Inc. has completed all necessary registrations with U.S. public and financial institutions required to conduct business. The company's accounts and related services will be provided by Citizens Bank NA, based in Boston, MA, while Baker Tilly US Advantage Services will offer support in accounting, taxation, human resources, payroll, and financial reporting.

Recruitment processes are currently underway, aimed at hiring research and development employees. The company has already signed an employment contract (the so-called Employment Offer Letter Agreement), under which the Principal Investigator will begin working for SDS Optic USA on January 22, 2024. The employee’s role will involve the daily coordination of the operations of the USA R&D Center and the direct management of the team conducting research and development work in the field of molecular biology to develop further applications of the inPROBE technology.

The work of the new laboratory will be supported by the Scientific Advisory Board, which includes distinguished scientists and doctors from Poland and the USA. The Board, chaired by Dr. hab. n. med. Eng. Magdalena Staniszewska, Professor at KUL, will also support the laboratory's activities in the USA. The Polish company is thus achieving another milestone and advancing in the commercialization process of the inPROBE technology, in which another American entity, Clarfield International from New York, actively participates.

"A company in the United States will create another strong point of contact for potential partners with the SDS Optic brand, increase the company’s credibility across the ocean, and make it easier to establish relationships with large corporations locally. The location of our laboratory right next to Independence Hall, where the US as we know it today was actually founded, is also very symbolic for us, and we are very optimistic about the development of SDS Optic in the US."
