LAWP 1.2 Infrastructure – Purchase of equipment for conducting research and development work

SDS Optic S.A. has received funding from the European Union for the project: “Purchase of equipment for conducting research and development work on optimizing the sensor for medical applications as part of a proprietary microsensor for disease diagnostics.”
The objective of the Project is the purchase of optoelectronic (photonic) equipment for conducting research and development work focused on optimizing a sensor that is part of the proprietary inPROBE microsensor technology platform, owned by the Beneficiary. The goal of the Project is to expand and enhance the company's existing R&D center through the acquisition of modern research equipment for the laboratory, where the research team will carry out work aimed at introducing innovative solutions in the area of medical diagnostic microsensors. Achieving full production independence in the manufacturing and preparation of the optoelectronic (photonic) components of fiber-optic biosensors (microsensors), launching and successfully validating pilot-scale biosensor production, and subsequently building additional resources dedicated to R&D in this area will represent significant added value in the future commercialization of the company’s technological solutions.
